Fleet Business Show 2016

Bates Solicitors will join 30+ exhibitors in the Harlington Centre, Fleet to take part in the first Fleet Business Show.     The event is sponsored by Fleet4Business a local networking group with the intention of promoting local business services on a B2B basis.

Orchestra of St Johns | Vivaldi’s and Piazzolla’s Four Seasons

The Orchestra of St. Johns with its conductor John Lubbock and Jan Schmolck, solo violin, will perform Vivaldi’s and Piazzolla’s Four Seasons at the Victoria Hall, Hartley Wintney As well as performances at the Royal Opera House, Ashmolean Museum Oxford, Snape Maltings Snape and Blackheath Halls Blackheath the Orchestra of St John’s provide more than fifty musical events each year for children with autism and for adults with dementia.

When is a pram not a pram?   Answer when it is a Wheelchair, a wheelbarrow or even a scooter.  As long as it has at least 3 wheels on 2 axles, or in the case of wheelbarrows 1 wheel and 2 skids, carries a passenger and can be manually propelled the ‘pram’ and team can enter the Hartley Wintney Pram Race 2015

800 years of Magna Carta

The 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carter was commemorated by a ceremony at the American Bar Association’s Magna Carta Memorial Runneymede attended by the Queen and members of the Royal family including Princess Anne who rededicated the memorial, saying Magna Carta “provides us with one of our most basic doctrines – that no person is above the law”.
