This concert is the latest in a series of performances by the Angell Piano Trio combining exquisite renditions of established classical greats together with recitals of innovative and exciting works of new artists and composers.
In his programme ‘Story of Music’ for the BBC Howard Goodall looks at the now classical artists of their time and the ground breaking innovation which lead to the many genres we enjoy today. Then as now writers such as Mozart, Liszt and Stravinsky enjoyed patronage which enabled them to produce music which challenged contemporary acceptance in their era.
