Career History & Expertise: Ann studied Sociology & Philosophy [BSC (Hons) & MA] at The University of Manchester and worked for the Crown Prosecution Service and as a journalist before reading a law degree and taking the Bar Exam at The City Law School, University of London and qualifying as a Barrister in 2006. She worked in-house for one of the ‘Big Four’ in the Financial Services sector and for an American law firm in the City of London before joining Bates Solicitors and cross-qualifying as a Solicitor in 2012.
Ann practices Employment Law and specialises in advising Employees and Employers on Settlement Agreements, drafting Contracts of Employment, advising on Grievance/Disciplinary procedures and Unfair Dismissal Claims.
She also practices Civil Litigation and has a broad range of contractual and property Dispute Resolution experience.
